SUMMARY:EcoMobility World Congress 2017
DESCRIPTION:During the EcoMobility World Festival\, the fourth EcoMobility World Congress 2017 will be held from 2 to 4 October 2017 in Kaohsiung. The EcoMobility Congress series enables international actors\, united by a shared interest in sustainable transportation\, to come together to share good practices and spark synergies in a setting that promotes creative collaboration\, local initiatives and the EcoMobility agenda. Our Congress theme for this year is: Livable\, Shared\, and Intelligent. \nThis year\, at the Congress\, we expect about 700 local and international participants\, including: \n\ncity mayors;\nhigh-level government representatives and policy makers in the field of urban transportation and climate change;\ncity leaders;\ntransportation experts;\nrepresentatives from development banks;\nrepresentatives from international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs);\nresearchers from research institutes; and\nbusinesses involved in the field of sustainable urban mobility.\n\nThe Congress aims to bring the sustainable urban mobility debate to the global level\, coupled with local  context of implementation. A series of sessions in the form of plenary discussions\, presentations\, debates\, workshops\, and even KED-Talks (Kaohsiung EcoMobility Dialogues) are planned to address our Congress themes: livable\, shared\, and intelligent. Solutions will be sought to reduce the dominance of private automobiles in cities and advance sustainable and low carbon urban mobility. Together with the Festival\, the Congress aims to build and showcase a narrative that livable cities are not car-centric\, but rather through an integrated mode of mobility.

DESCRIPTION:A Oi\, após desenvolver um programa de inovação nos últimos anos\, envolvendo startups na criação de soluções inovadoras\, lança o Oito – um novo hub de empreendedorismo e inovação no Rio de Janeiro. \nA iniciativa se posiciona estrategicamente junto ao mundo da inovação\, incubando startups em estágio inicial\, acelerando negócios mais maduros e até sociais\, reunindo a comunidade através dos eventos que serão realizados no espaço\, situado em Ipanema. \nAs parcerias incluem Nokia\, IBM\, Amazon Web Services\, CPqD\, Firjan\, Oi Futuro\, Yunus Negócios Sociais do Brasil\, CESAR e o Instituto Gênesis PUC-Rio. A sede foi planejada para estimular a troca de experiências\, servindo às empresas incubadas\, residentes e à comunidade\, com agenda de atividades ligadas a economia criativa\, incluindo programação de experimentações artísticas liderada pelo Oi Futuro. \nO hub de empreendedorismo atuará em quatro frentes: o programa de Incubação de startups em estágio inicial\, que será coordenado pelo Instituto Gênesis; a seleção de startups mais maduras para aceleração\, com acesso à área de coworking e aos parceiros do Oito; o Oito Labs\, laboratório para desenvolvimento e teste de soluções da Internet das Coisas em parceria com a Nokia; e um espaço multiuso\, voltado para eventos e programação cultural\, para inspirar ideias e criar conexões entre pessoas e empresas. \nO edital de seleção de projetos para o Programa de Incubação de Startups do Oito já está aberto para aporte de até R$ 150 mil para cada projeto selecionado.
